Throughout my career I’ve worked in a wide variety of roles, ranging anywhere from recruiting college athletes and managing high-growth start-ups to years of working retail and, of course, overseeing the strategic marketing efforts for clients within the industries of Travel & Tourism, Food & Bev, Economic Development, Real Estate, and Outdoor Recreation, Lifestyle, and Apparel.
In additional to a background specializing in strategic marketing, I am also a business owner and entrepreneur… not just with what I’ve built here with Ideal Scenario, but also with other businesses I’ve started, grown, and co-own as well. Such as Common Pops and Common Delights.
I’ve also gained a fair amount of knowledge and experience within the nonprofit world as well, serving six years on the board (two as President) of the Travelers Rest Farmers Market and assisting with the strategic marketing for several other organizations over the last 20+ years of my career.
Call it being a “jack-of-all-trades” or just a generalist, but I believe variety to be the spice of life and truly enjoy being able to take the insight, experience, and skill sets I’ve garnered in one area of my career and positively apply them to another.
Life is certainly not all about work though…
So when I’m not perched behind a computer or working away on a project, you can typically find me at the gym, yoga studio, or somewhere outdoors… most likely on a bike, a mountain, or a nearby trail here in Greenville, South Carolina.
